The tools to transform care for sickle cell disease and diabetes already exist. Now we bring together the people who can put them to work.

Join us for the inaugural Engineering for America Biotech Convening and be part of the conversation, and solutions, as impact-driven innovation takes center stage at.

Welcome to a one-day gathering at the American Association for the Advancement of Science Headquarters, located at 1200 New York Ave NW, Washington, D.C. 20005, where industry, academia, government, and community leaders come together to learn, connect, and move ideas forward. At the heart of the day is a pitch competition featuring four emerging companies who demonstrate the principles of Community-Centered Innovation, each building toward better outcomes in sickle cell disease and diabetes.

Through keynotes, a cross-sector panel, structured matchmaking, and themed roundtables, attendees will leave with new partners, new perspectives, and a shared commitment to advancing health equity.

As George Washington Carver reminded us, "It is simply service that measures success."
